No spam. Just Randy — on the road, on canvas, dropping art.
where the road meets canvas
He started putting acrylics on canvas the way most people start things that stick — without a plan, without a reason, just a feeling that he needed to. His work is bold, physical, and textural. Heavy paint, expressive marks, color that doesn't apologize for itself.
He's shown work at the Taube Museum of Art in Minot, North Dakota — the city where he lives, where he won a Harley-Davidson Road Glide at a cancer benefit raffle, and where his son Jon drove him to pick it up from a dealership that has since closed.
In June 2026 Randy rode that Road Glide 7,500+ miles across nine US and Canadian cities — officiating his son's wedding at every stop and painting each city he arrived in. Nine ceremonies. Nine canvases. One trip nobody had done before.
he's pretty great, definitely the greatest Harley-Davidson-riding, canvas-painting, crazy-idea loving, warm-hearted guy around.
